For our product management / wheat sales department, we are looking for someone to work full-time (40 hours/week) for our headquarters in Söllingen as soon as possible:
Wheat Product Manager (m/w/d)
Your tasks
- Development and implementation of the wheat product management strategy
- Coordination of the connection of breeding, marketing, and sales
- Development of product-specific information from breeding for marketing and sales
- Development and preparation of variety descriptions and cultivation recommendations of wheat varieties in Germany and abroad
- Development and implementation of presentations as part of field days, conferences, trade fairs and customer visits
- visiting the yield trials, and demo trials in Germany and abroad
- Participation in the preliminary testing of breeding lines and their registration for nationally and internationally listed test and support until approval
- Participation in the planning of propagation areas, the recognition process and post-control cultivation
- Development of sales plans for domestic and foreign markets
- Define product positioning and development/market with a clear research mission for our breeding department
- Accompanying sales management on customer visits and conferences at home and abroad and later independently attend such
Your profile
- Professional experience in plant breeding, marketing and sales
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- IT: Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Social: team player, communicative, discreet and good manners
- Personal: self-responsible, flexible, reliable and resilient
- Self-Confident and professional appearance
- Willingness to travel, resident and non-resident
- Class B driver's license
