For our breeding & product management team sugar beet, we are looking for someone to work full-time (40 hours/week) for our headquarters in Schlanstedt as soon as possible:
Head of yield trialing Sugar Beet (m/w/d)
Your tasks
- Responsibility and lead of our yield trials in Sugar Beet breeding
- Planning, organization, realization and supervision of our international yield trials
- Trial documentation and result gathering
- Organization and control of our Sugar Beet brei analysis lab
- Contact to and communication with our trial conducting farmers, official and external trial operators
- You work in very close collaboration with our Sugar Beet breeders and further internal interfaces
- Lead of our yield trialing team
- Develop, plan and optimise sugar beet breeding programs
Your profile
- LTA, Bachelor or Master in Agricultural Science, Biology or Horticulture
- Sound experience in trial planning and operation
- Profound experience in team leading
- Basic knowledge in biostatistics is a plus
- Efficient, organised and pragmatic, you are proactive, foresighted and resultoriented
- Team player and excellent communication skills
- Your excellent organisation allows you to manage a wide range of tasks with multiple stakeholders
- Frequent international travels, ca. 40% of your time
- Familiar with the use of MS Office and data base programs
- Very good language skills of German and English with the interest in learning other languages
- Driving license of type B
