2D X-ray images with automatic image analysis

Already in 1998, we developed the first automatic X-ray system for 2-dimensional analysis of individual seeds. Using image interpretation software, we can look inside the seeds and determine the size of the embryo and the filling of the shell without destroying it. This allows us to record important seed quality parameters. Automatic 2D X-rays are considered the precursor technology of the 3D-CT.
